Tanya Jill Sheaves

SHEAVES-HALLEY, Tanya Jill — 39, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her Halifax home surrounded by her loving family, leaving with many happy memories, her husband, Gord and their dog Gracie. Tanya is survived by parents, Shirley and Melvin Sheaves of St. John's, N.L.; sister, Michelle (Chris), special niece and nephew, Josie and Jake of Labrador City, N.L.; sister, Krista (Blair), nephew, Shamus and niece, Maria, Dartmouth; in-laws, Violet and Gordon Halley of St. John's; Christine (Mike), Megan and Jordon, Judi (Clyde), Janet (Dave), Jessica, Jason, and Justin, Patricia (Herb) Richard, Gregory and Genevieve, Eileen (Fabian), Sheila, Samuel and Liam, Paul and Eunju. Also, a large circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Sheaves and Simms families and so many other close friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to be held in Barretts Funeral Home, Hamilton Ave Ext., St. John's, N.L., on Thursday May 27 from 2-9 p.m. Service will be held on Friday, May 28 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Mount Pearl. Flowers gratefully accepted and donations made to the Gathering Place or charity of your choice in honour of Tanya's memory. There will be a service in Halifax for Tanya during the month of June, and the date is to be announced. Tanya loved life, the outdoors and all it had to offer. Her smile, sparkling personality and positivity were infectious and inspiring. She will be sadly missed by all who had the great privilege of being touched by her. To know her was to love her.
