I have just hear this very sad news about Scott; it is far too soon for him to be gone and I send you and your family my sincere condolences.
It has been a long time since I've seen you both, however my memories of time with you in Halifax in the late '70's is so very vivid.  When Scott turned the corner at the bottom of the stairs and headed to the bar at the Grad House in that bright orange down jacket, you just knew that he and Bob Bagg would regale us all.  He was "good craic" as the Irish would say. 
I hold you in my thoughts, and send you love and light as you move through this very challenging passage.

Scott was a very lucky friend to have so many friends that loved him. Scott always had a smile and something positive to say. I will misss not bumping into Scott on the hill, street or with a group of friends on the a boat.

We were heartbroken to hear that Scott has passed away.  Rod and I didnt' hear about Scott's passing until this past Wednesday.  I was away and hadn't checked my email and Rod just didn't hear.   We are both sorry to have missed Scott's funeral, as we would have liked to honour his life and pay respect to all of you.  Rod and I were very fond of Scott.  Our hearts go out to you and all your close friends and family.

I just found out this week about Scott's passing. I am very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of seeing Scott in September past. Marilyn and I were helping a young woman as she searched for a home that would take her through the fall semester. I ended up with her at your son's home, and he and I got to have a chat. He told me about his poor health, but he seemed to have such a great attitude.

Just heard in the last couple of days of Scott's passing. My heart goes out to you and Ted. I remember how proud you were of Scott as we'd hear stories while we were teaching at Rockingham Elementary. You were wonderful parents to Scott and I'm sure today is particularly hard being the day he was born.But then, probably not, as it was a splendid day 57 yrs ago.   
I have a tendency to ramble, Mary, so wanted you to know I'm thinking of you. I never would send computer condolences until my beloved Earl passed away 5 yrs ago. I re-read them from time to time and they're wonderful remembrances that I can savour now.

Kelly and Kids, I got the news from Gerry Parsons not long ago. Scottie was the Pres. when I pledged Phi Delt. He was the one who told us and showed us "Greater than was Transmitted to Me ". He was one of the best Phi's and just plain one of the best.Great guy . He will be missed.        HACK  581

Scott was a good friend since fraternity days at Dalhousie. In fact I have heard from several brothers within the last few days all sending condolences - Mike Soares from Nunavit, Bob Wilson, Graham Starrat, Stewart Creaser and Brian MacDonald, just to name a few. All spoke fondly of their memories of "Deuce" from the Delt.
My warmest memory Kelly is the love he had for you right from the moment he saw you. And he was as in love and proud of Lauren and Brittany.
