

Violet worked at Simpsons and then Sears. She loved the beach, cooking, and a good book. She was an incredible crafter, enjoying to sew, knit, and crochet and her garden blossomed under her daily care. Violet was devoted to her husband, family, and her faith.
Survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph; daughter, Mary Ann (Allan) Stuart, Halifax; sons, Joey (Peggy), Porters Lake, Michael, John, , and Gerard of Halifax; sister, Barbara Robichaud, brother, Junior (Phyllis) Little; grandchildren, Edna Murphy (Garnet), Annette (Lorne) Hartlen, Heather Murphy, Matthew and Erin Murphy, Robert and, Shawn Stuart; 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Fleckney; brothers, Stan and Bill Little.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, from 2-4 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 24 at 10:30 am at Saint Benedict Parish, 45 Radcliffe Drive. Father James Mallon officiating, burial to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
