Virginia was born in Baker Settlement, NS. She was the daughter of Harry & Laura (Vienotte) Aulenback.
Virginia was retired from Bank of Nova Scotia, where she worked as a data entry clerk.
Virginia was an avid quilter, knitter, baker, camper, and lover of yard sales and flea markets.
A beloved wife, mother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband Howard, daughter Lisa, son Scott (Lara), sister Gail(John) Carter, brothers Dougal (Lucille) and Ross (Muriel), grandson Cole, many nieces and nephews and cat Lilly.
She was predeceased by her sister Emily (Roger).
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm at JA Snow funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
