
Born on July 18, 1915, he was the son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Bruce) Graham. Bruce was Assistant General Manager of Nova Scotia Savings and Loan and Secretary Treasurer of Roy Limited for many years. During W.W.11, Bruce served proudly with the Halifax Rifles. He was active in many sports: badminton, sailing, golf, fly fishing and he also played tennis into his 91st year. Bruce was survived by his wife of 23 years, Ruth (Wallace), son David (Louise), Toronto; grandchildren, Kevin (Vicky), Atlanta; Diane, Florida; Sherry, Toronto; Sasha (Ian) Cuvelier, Sackville, NS and six great-grandchildren. Bruce was predeceased by his first wife Meryl (Hennessy), son John and brother, Robert. He will be missed by sisters-in-law, Mona Bennett, Eleanor Culver and Patricia Wallace, as well as dear friends of many years, David and Eltie Boyer, BC. Bruce regularly conquered the Saturday Globe and Mail Crossword puzzles, enjoyed bridge and was a voracious readeer. His old world charm and quiet sense of humour will be missed by his family and many friends. The Wallace Clan will never forget their beloved Uncle Bruce. A sincere thank you to all the staff of the QE11, 7.2 and Restorative Care, the VON and other caregivers at home as well as Dr. Poranek and Dr. Meehan.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 2Pm from J.A.Snow Funeral Home Chapel, 339 Lacewood Drive with reception to follow. Burial at a later date.
