Gerda Karola Schrank nee Weinberger was born on 3 February 1937 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany and was baptized in the Roman Catholic faith.
Her parents were the Dentist Nepomuk Weinberger and Augusta Juliane Weinberger nee Kiener.
After she had finished her education and a few business-office employments she began her new occupation at the German Military Intelligence in Munich in February 1959. She absolved several sundry training courses and was very bonded to her profession in which she worked with interest, perseverance and precision for 28 years and 8 months.
On 9 October 1973 she married Lawrence L Schrank. Her husband came back to Aleman, Texas in 1982 in order to renovate and make habitable an old building; meanwhile she remained in Germany. On 30 September 1987 she terminated her employment and followed her husband to Texas on 15 October 1987.
Gerda is preceded death by her parents and husband Lawrence L Schrank.
