Gilbert Garldean Donald Sr.

Gilbert was born to Al Fonzo and Julie Delila Stagner Donald in Hamilton County.

At a young age, he met and married the love of his life, Doris L. Andrews.

They shared 63 years together until her death on January 30, 2015.

Gilbert and Doris dedicated their life to leading people to Christ and were the pastors

of the Victory Christian Fellowship Church in Hamilton for many years.

A celebration of Gilbert's life was held at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 am with interment at the Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his beloved wife Doris, parents, great grandson Eric Donald

and three brothers Sam, Robert and M.V. Donald.

Gilbert is survived by his three children, Doris Jean McFarlin of Stephenville,

son Gary Donald and wife Judy of Navasota and Shana Campbell and

husband Brit of Hico; grandchildren Gary Shane, Kevin, Tracy, Derek, Nikki,

Alex, Lance, Hallie, Eric and John; great grandchildren Justin, Destiny, Charity,

Ashley, Melanie, Courtney, Morgan, Julia, Cameron, Emily, Erica and Luke;

great great grandchildren Ellainia and Andrew.

He also survived is by one brother JD Donald and wife Kathey of McGregor.
