Our family lost our Matriarch on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, when Guadalupe Hernandez, passed away of natural causes surrounded by her family. Guadalupe was born in Mexico and later immigrated to the U.S. with her husband and seven children. She would go on to have two more children here in Texas. Guadalupe was a stay at home mom her entire life. She loved nothing more than her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Guadalupe always loved to be around family and friends, always making everyone laugh. Her favorite thing to do was play Loteria with her girls.
Guadalupe is survived by her son, Max Hernandez and wife, Sofia of Gatesville; Daughter Maria Hernandez and husband, Balo of Purmela; Daughter Jo Aguilar and husband, Carlos of Mcgregor; Daughter Lupe Kuehler and husband, Nathan of Evant; Son Javier Hernandez and Christina; Daughter Della Lopez of Evant; Daughter Ellie Hernandez and husband, Francisco of Hamilton; Daughter Margarita Hernandez of Hamilton and many grandkids and great grandkids.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Hernandez; Son, Pete Hernandez; Grandson, Andy Sebedra; Grandson, Miguel Garcia.
Her legacy will be of someone who loved and cared deeply for everyone, she will always be remembered as the Mother to the Hernandez Family. Come share your stories of remembrance with the family.
A visitation for Guadalupe will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riley Funeral Home, 402 W Main, Hamilton, Texas. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM, at Riley Funeral Home Chapel, 402 W Main, Hamilton, Texas. A burial will follow at Murphree Cemetery, Hwy 281 East, Evant, Texas.
Guadalupe will be laid to rest in Murphree Cemetery, Hwy 281 East, Evant, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Justin Sabedra, Jeffrey Hernandez, Patrick Hernandez, Chris Garcia, Gabriel Aguilar, Alonso Ramirez, Steven Torres, Joaquin Martinez, Sergio Lopez, Andrew Lopez, Jonathon Hernandez and Phillip Lopez.
