Lena Christine Boatwright

Services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Riley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Shive. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012, from 6 to 8 PM at Riley Funeral Home.

Lena was born February 13, 1934, in Old Glory, Texas to parents Ernest J. and Tina Wright Graeter. Lena married Troy Boatwright on June 4, 1949, in Hamilton. Troy and Lena moved from Hamilton in 1954, lived in McGregor until 1972, when they moved back to Hamilton, where they have lived since. Lena loved quilting, doing crafts and loved her husband, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her whole family.

Lena is survived by: Husband; Troy Boatwright, sons; Kenneth and wife Sharon Boatwright of Hamilton, Jim and wife Peggy Boatwright of Hamilton, Karl and wife Stacy Boatwright of Hamilton, Daughter; Patti and husband Randy Dyer of Hamilton. Also survived by Sisters; Betty Lee, Ruth Seale and husband Charles Seale, Billie Ann Kinney and Sisters-in-Law; Barbara Graeter, Joyce Cox and Betty Boatwright.

Grandchildren are Colby and wife Misty Boatwright, Josh Boatwright and fiancée Diana Lehner, Jeremy and wife Sandy Boatwright, Angela and husband Justin Tubbs, Shawna and husband Arthur Galindo, Clay and wife Brittney Boatwright, Melissa and husband Joseph Schraeder and Julie Boatwright.

Great-grandchildren are Marley Boatwright, Landry Grimshaw, Mason and Toby Tubbs, Baily and Bethany Boatwright, Logan and Levan Welch and Lanie Boatwright.

She was loved by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends as well.

Lena was preceded in death by Parents; Ernest Graeter and Tina Wright Greater, Sisters; Ann, Novella, Bertie and Dorothy, Brothers; John and Ernest Jr.

Pallbearers are Colby Boatwright, Josh Boatwright, Jeremy Boatwright, Clay Boatwright, Justin Tubbs, Arthur Galindo, Joseph Schraeder and Steve Kavanaugh. Honorary Pallbearers are Angela Tubbs, Shawna Galindo, Melissa Schraeder and Julie Boatwright.

Services are under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.
