Ruby Edwards

Ruby Loyd Edwards 103 years of age, left this world for Heaven on Monday May 11, 2015 surrounded by family. She was born to the late William and Dora Munday on February 2, 1912 in Evergreen Texas. She married Eargle B. Loyd on October 24, 1930. Eargle preceded her in death 1955, she married James Edwards on September 21, 1958, and James preceded her in death in 1977. Ruby was a devoted Christian and a member of the Littleville Baptist Church. Ruby was a homemaker, mother and Grandmother to many. Ruby belonged to the Peacemakers Quilting Club.

Ruby is survived by a daughter a son Waylan Loyd Sr. and wife Darla, daughter Loujuana Whaley and husband Bob one step daughter Christy Donahoo, a brother, William (Bill) Munday Jr. Grandsons Waylan Loyd Jr. and Darrell Gromatzky one granddaughter Loujuana Marie Loyd and one great grandson Hunter Gromatzky, she also has 10 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Eargle Loyd and James Edwards, 3 sisters Leona Jones, Willie Harwell and Mary Linton, 1 brother J.T. (Jake) Munday.

Service were held Thursday May 14, 2015 at Riley Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in I.O.O. F Cemetery.
