He was born on February 16, 1950 to Norberto and Guadalupe Ynostrosa. He lived in Big Valley and Goldthwaite.
He was a musician and sheepshearer by trade. He was preceded in death by his father Norberto and daughter Veronica. Santiago is survived by his wife Donna, son Travis King (Stephanie), daughter Brandi King (Jennifer), mother Guadalupe Ynostrosa, three brothers Fabian Ynostrosa, Norberto Ynostrosa (Bea) and Samuel Ynostrosa, four sisters Rita Barrientes (Ruben), Micaela Ynostrosa (Maria), Cenaida Arreola (Pedro), and Sara Langhorne (Joseph). He is also survived by his grandchildren Colton, Desiree, Rylan, Austin, Ellie, Jacob, Kayla, Brittany and Kamryn, fourteen nieces and nephews, eighteen great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jaime Barrientas, Gabriel Ynostrosa, Beto Ynostrosa, Dan Perez, Joseph Langhorne, and Jacob King.
