Troy was born on August 16, 1927 in Sunshine Community, Texas to Millard and Ogie Boatwright.
Troy married Lena Christine Greater on June 4 1949 in Hamilton, Texas. Troy and Lena lived
in McGregor Texas until 1972 and moved to Hamilton, where they lived since.
Troy is preceded in death by his wife Lena Christine: his parents Millard and Ogie Boatwright
and brother Howard Boatwright. He is survived by sons Kenneth and wife Sharon, Jim and wife Peggy,
Karl and wife Stacey and daughter Patti Dyer and husband Randy, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
