Diana Patricia Hobbs

DIANA PATRICIA HOBBS 5/16/1940-2/18/2022 Diana Patricia Hobbs, 81, of Apple Valley, CA passed away peacefully February 18, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born May 16, 1940 in Upland, CA and raised in Cucamonga, CA by her parents Romolo and Julia Guttero. She worked 30 years for Chino Basin Municipal Water District (later Inland Empire Utilities Agency) and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to travel, spending time at the beach, learning and helping those less fortunate. She is survived by her husband, Gary; son Brian Hobbs and wife Kathleen; daughter Linda Couraut and husband Francis; grandchildren Iphigenie Mettavant and husband Yannick, Maxence Muller, Michelle Shrewsberry and husband Joshua, Matthew Hobbs and Joshua Hobbs; and great grandchildren Ernestine Mettavant and Samuel Shrewsberry. Diana is also survived by her sister, Christina Overturf . She is preceded in passing by her son Wayne Hobbs and grandson Emilien Muller. Services will be held at Jess Ranch Community Church in Apple Valley, CA on Monday, March 7 at 10:30 AM followed by a reception. Interment will be conducted at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery Ontario, CA on Tuesday, March 8 at 11:30 AM for the family.
