George Christoval Bustamante

Age 82, born on July 25, 1934, in Belen New Mexico, passed away from this life on December 8, 2016 in Barstow California. Preceded in death by his parents Jose Antonio and Bernarda Bustamante and his son Mark Bustamante. Also, his brothers Manuel, Ben, Robert, Doro and Leo, his sisters Flora, Carmen, Esther and Betty.

He is survived by his “Linditia,” the LOVE of his life of 53 years; his sons Randy (Bob), Joseph, Casey (Charlotte), and Daniel; his daughter Irene, and his best pal Mark Jones. His sisters Grace Griego, Berna (Elias); Sarah Chavira, Ernestina (Eliseo); Rosie (Bennie); Josie Bustamante and Theresa (Tom); his brothers Ruben (Yolanda); Gene (Helen); and Raymond (Cathy); 16 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends. He will also be missed by “Chiquita and Pretty Boy.”

He proudly served in the US Army, worked as a Construction Laborer for 33 years, and was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He loved photography and had a passion for writing and playing music. He happily volunteered playing his guitar and singing for his family, individuals and at various community functions. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 505 E. Mt. View St. Barstow, CA 92311. Viewing at 10 a.m., Rosary at 11 a.m. and Mass at 12 noon. Reception following at Noonan Hall.
