James Calvin Moses

James “Jim” Calvin Moses. A resident of Hesperia, California, peacefully passed away Friday morning December 01, 2017 surrounded by his wife and family. Jim was born to Calvin (1991) and Betty (2008) Moses in Loup City, Nebraska on August 15. 1950. He is survived by his wife Susan Moses of 47 years, Son James Lee Moses of Hesperia, Daughter Stacy June Gregg (Kelly) of Hesperia, Brother Kenneth Moses of Hesperia, Sister Sharon Mendes of Hesperia, Grandson’s Cameron M Gregg (Nancy), Cody C Gregg, and Chadler A J Gregg (Samantha), Great Granddaughters Jasmine R Gregg, Emma L Gregg and Madison M Gregg, Brother in Law Robert Milton (Judy), Frank Milton (Linda), Tammie Sale (Craig) several nephews & nieces, and a multitude of great friends.

Jim and Susan moved to Hesperia in 1971 and started their own business “Jim Moses Tile Co”. Jim worked for multiple builders in the High Desert area until 2008. Jim had a passion for installing tile, working hard to take care of his family and making sure his customers were happy. His second passion was old cars. Jim was diligent in his restoration of several cars over the years. As a charter member of Past Reflections Car Club, Jim and Sue enjoyed many car club outings and he loved to show off his collection.

Jim was a kind and loving man that everyone admired and loved talking to. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Kerns Mortuary 16120 Main St Hesperia, CA 92345.

Memorial services to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Desert View Memorial Park 11500 Amargosa Rd Victorville, CA 92392
