

Linda, the daughter of Clarence and Marguerite Johnson, was born in San Bernardino California on October 3, 1946. She resided in San Bernardino County all her life having settled in the High Desert for the past 42 years. Linda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Heert deWindt, her children Thomas Van Wagoner, Krista (Robert) McLaughlin, Scott (Kelly) deWindt, and her grandchildren, Kaylene, and Cody deWindt, Sara McLaughlin, and (predeceased) Eric Thomas.
Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her many roles in the Relief Society and as Scout Leader. Linda had so many passions in life including sewing, crocheting, and knitting, and creating custom greeting cards that she sent out for every occasion imaginable. She loved her little doggies and kitties, and her family and friends meant everything to her.
Linda's passing is a great loss to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. However, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us for years to come.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8889 Sheep Creek Rs., Phelan, CA 92371 on March 25, 2023, at 11:00am.
