Ruby Newera Mitchell

Born August 11, 1919 in Nebraska City, NE to Charles / Emma Coe

After high school she moved to Colorado where she met and married Tony Lovejoy. Together they raised his four children Garnett, Bertie, Del and Chris. Tony passed away and she later met and married Fred B. Mitchell, Jr.

As a military wife she travelled throughout Europe and eventually moved to Victorville and GAFB. Fred retired from the military and they stayed in Victorville. Pat worked as a volunteer to Family Services at GAFB and won many awards for her efforts. Later she worked at the Village Drive Market and became a life long volunteer at the United Methodist Church of Victorville. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren from the Colorado family as well as two step-sons Ronald Mitchell, Thomas (Ingrid) Mitchell, four grandchildren Clint Mitchell, Angela Salcido, Erica Mitchell and Seth Mitchell. She also leaves behind two great grand daughters Aurora Powers and Paige Manning. There are also two sisters living in Colorado and her brother Clarke Coe in Washington.

There will be a service at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside,CA on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 1:30 PM . In lieu of flowers please make donations to the United Methodist Church of Victorville.
