Dear Navah,

You have always been such an amazing and loyal friend- never forgetting a birthday and always staying in touch for all these years. We loved to joke around about our days interning at the Cardozo Bet Tzedek legal clinic. What fun we had! I know that you made Stern College a better place for me and so many others and I am so happy and privileged to have you in my life. I am so sorry you suffered so much. May your beautiful, sweet, kind and generous neshama have the highest Aliya. May your family find strength by the memories of all those lives you’ve touched. I am so sad to hear of your passing. I remember you always so happy and cheerful, such warmth it lit up any room. We will all miss you alot and I wish you peace where you are now.

Navah, my funny, vivacious and kind friend.

We met in college, where we became roommates and best friends. For the past 24 years we lived in different continents, but always stayed connected.

You faced this terrible illness with so much courage, humour and grace. I will miss you beyond words — your infectious laugh, your wit, your fierce loyalty, the way you lit up every room. You were one of a kind, and I am so grateful for the years of friendship we shared.

Rest easy, Navah. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.

Dearest Navah, I can’t believe what I heard! You were on my first friends in college and after we moved to the west side I got to know you better. You were so beautiful , smart, fun and  a great friend ! But you were so humble and never believed all the compliments you got .. this all seems so unreal !! I will miss you always 💔
