It was a true honor to have Rose Scher as my grandmother. Her love for the family was unconditional, she lived unselfishly and gave so much support to all she touched. My grandmother was a very intelligent person and held executive level roles  when women were not in the workforce.  She was an amazing cook, conversationalist and like a rose an elegant , powerful  and beautiful. The best gift of all that she taught me was to think of others, and I will carry on that tradition and teach my children the same. May you rest in peace and be welcomed into heaven by your eight brothers and sisters, your parents, your husband, my father, your grandson and all your friends. Like I told you in your hospital bed this is not goodbye until we meet again my sweet beautiful grandma.
