I had the privilege of working as one of his scribes, and even three years later, I still think about him often — a true testament to the kind of person he was. His generosity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to his patients continue to inspire me. He made a lasting impact on everyone around him, and he’ll always hold a special place in my heart. When I first met Dr. Morduchowitz
I could tell he was just such a good guy. He was an incredibly compassionate and interested doctor- even calling me on the weekend when I had a bad test result. It’s just obvious when someone is special. I’m so incredibly sorry for this profound loss. I wish I told him what a special doctor he was. 
He will be so very missed.

I just saw this horrible news. I was a patient of his for many years and was just looking him up to go back to him. He was so kind and caring and so involved in one’s total care. May his memory always be a blessing. 

I had the pleasure of becoming Dr. Morduchowitz’s patient in 2010. I will always cherish the time that I was able to spend with him, he always told me that I was his best patient. He was truly a blessing and one of the best doctors. He will be greatly missed.

I am  so deeply sorry for your loss. I was a patient of Dr. Morduchowitz for over 20 years. He was always kind and very professional. He took the time to listen and made sure I left  his office with a peace of mind.  Throughout the years with him, I knew I was in good hands. You will be tremendously missed!  🙏 

I am so sorry to hear about Dr, Morduchowitz’s passing.  He was a special person that truly cared for his patients.  I stopped seeing him a few years ago since I moved out east.  He was my favorite doctor.  He treated my mother along with myself and she has the same feelings about him.  Anyone who had a chance to know him was touched.  He made a point to make you feel comfortable, cared for and like family.  Dr. Morduchowitz had bedside manners that you can’t find in doctors anymore.  He truly cared about all of his patients.    He was and will always be an angel.  He was taken from us way too young and he will be missed.  God bless his family and friends.

I was referred to Dr. Morduchowitz by a family member about 16 years ago.    I was impressed by his kindness, demeanor and how he took time to explain and educate his patients. I never left his office without a pamphlet or reading material about medical issues.

I was also blown away when he would call discuss test results. Not many doctors  still do this. I wish I could have cloned him and made him a doctor in every field of medicine. He was the best doctor I've ever had.

Such a devoted physician. A mentch. Very down to earth. Felt like a family member. Always upbeat, especially during the last year. Never giving up hope. Will be sorely missed. May HSHM bless the family with everlasting health and wellness.

I haven’t spoken to Stuart in a few years but always consideeed him a friend and great human being.  My sincerest condolences to his family he will be greatly missed. 

It was once written "The capacity to care gives life its greatest meaning."  Dr. Morduchowitz's caring is what I and my family will
cherish about him.  He has cared for myself and two sisters.  When
my sister was dying of cancer, he was extremely supportive in managing her diabetes.  Day or night he was always available.  This lessened some of the stress.
I know his family meant a great deal to him.  I want to thank you for
sharing him with his patients.
It is my prayer that over time the grief will lessen and you can reflect
on what he meant to you and so many.

I believe i wouldnt be alive today without his ever present support a d willingness to believe my unusual symptoms.  A doctor in every noble degree, modest, empathetic, willing to think outside the usual parameters, always willing to try to answer every fear question and doubt. I am heartbroken over the loss of such a friend and doctor in every imaginable way.  There will never be another doctor as devoted in my life. I was in Stu's class in MTA and afterward in YC.  I remember him fondly though we were not close friends. We hung out in different circles, he being pre-med and I an accounting major. Whenever we would bump into each other though, he would always greet me warmly with my nickname "Yosh!" and I would respond with his moniker, "Duke!" 
A few memories: Was extremely good-natured. Never saw him lose his temper. I remember seeing him a lot with his hockey stick in High School. He liked playing the sport on the wooden floor - though he might have played ice hockey as well. I was in Hebrew class with Stu in MTA taught by the legendary Rabbi Moshe Rapps Z"l who was also a Ram at MTA. Rabbi Rapps was a tough Lower East Sider who probably could have lived to 120 if he did not contract COVID,  which cut his life "short" at 100. Anyway, Rabbi Rapps used to call Stu "מורדכוביץ"(Mor-di-cho-vitz) as opposed to the commonly pronounced "Mor-doo-ko-witz". Stu never corrected him and I suppose he considered it correct and that it was probably pronounced that way in Europe. 
I was extremely saddened and shocked to hear of Stu's passing. I had the zchus to see a video of the funeral from Israel today. Extremely moving to see Stu's father conduct himself with grace that one cannot imagine being any less than Aharon Hakohen, who was famously described by the Torah "וידום אהרון" after the deaths of Nadav and Avihu. 
While obviously tragic and sad, I did see on a consoling note, what a wonderful family Stu was surrounded by. From his eloquent father to his son who recounted a brilliant דבר תורה on לבן הארמי which I will repeat at my Seder next year, אי"ה. 
I hope his wife Fran, son Benny and daughters Stephie and Tamara are consoled with the knowledge that their great husband and  father gave so much in his relatively short life and will find peace in גן עדן. May they continue his legacy of  לימוד תורה, דרך ארץ and serving humanity. מן השמיים תנוחמו. Gil Yashar aka Gilead Yoshor

My husband,  Miguel and I  were so incredibly saddened to hear about Stuart's passing.  Stuart was my endocrinologist for over 20 years.  He was a caring,  kind doctor who freely spoke at our ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association 
Long Island support group meetings.  He was happy to respond to any questions and always shared the ThyCa organization with those newly diagnosed with thyroid cancer.  He was indeed, one of the good ones.  He truly cared.   May cherished memories help to bring you comfort at this difficult time.  May Stuart's memory be a blessing.
