

Andrew E. Kohlstedt age 77, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, December 4, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy Kohlstedt; children, Andi Hunter, David (Carol) Kohlstedt, Victoria (Christopher) Hurley and Kristie (Jack) McKethen; grandchildren, Ashley (Fred) Long, Mitchel (Kira) Lenzi, Alexis (Stephen) Dirks, Colin (Alexandra) Hurley, Ian Hurley, Liam Hurley, Samantha McKethen, Matthew McKethen, Timothy Kohlstedt and Courtney Kohlstedt; great grandchildren, Aiden Long, Olivia Lenzi and Evelyn Hurley; brother, Michael (Carol) Kohlstedt; sister in law, Joann Kohlstedt and many nieces nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kohlstedt.
Andy was born on January 3, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Andrew Keane and Alice Kohlstedt and was a 1960 graduate of De La Salle High School in Chicago, IL. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force serving in California from 1962-1966. Andy was a Real Estate and Mortgage Loan Officer for most of his career and retired from Interstate Bank in Oak Forest, IL with 10 years of service.
He was exceptional at Trivia and enjoyed golfing and bowling. He will be fondly remembered for being witty, fun and a great hugger!
Andy was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Due to the current conditions of Covid 19, a memorial luncheon will be held at a later date.
