Benjamin Thomas Terpstra

Benjamin Thomas Terpstra, age 22, of Dyer, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 9, 2011. He is the son of Don Terpstra and Mary Terpstra(Van Baren) of Dyer, brother of Daniel(Mary Jo) Terpstra and Elizabeth(Greg) Bruinsma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 2-4 and 5-8 PM at the Protestant Reformed Church, 1777 E. Richton Road, Crete, Illinois. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 9:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, Indiana , with Rev. Steven Houck, officiating. Funeral service will be held on Thursday January 13, 2011 following graveside services at 11:00 AM at the Protestant Reformed Church in Crete with Rev. Clayton Spronk, officiating. Benjamin had unique challenges of body and mind, but those needs were graciously supplied by his Heavenly Father. Thanks to the Lake Central West Lake School Co-op, Respite Care Services of Highland, Home Pointe Nursing, Dr. Anger, Dr. Dershewitz, and their staff. Benjamin was a baptized member of Peace Protestant Reformed Church in Lansing where he was shown abundant love, support, encouragement and was prayed for through the years. It is with Christ’s resurrection and assurance of salvation that we look forward to seeing Benjamin again with a new body.
