Carol M. Anderson (nee Goodrich), age 77, of Highland, IN passed away Monday, August 8, 2016. She is survived by her two children: Debbie (Gary) Wighaman of Portage, IN and Donna (Harry) Murray of Hammond, IN; four grandchildren: Lauren and Heather Wighaman, Alex and Jessica Murray; two brothers: Herb (Helen) Goodrich and Ray (Char) Goodrich; two sisters: Paulene Carter and Cathy Woolsey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Alex “Bud” Anderson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Corlin Stein officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, August 12, 2016 from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home. Carol was formerly employed in the paint department at Handy Andy in Munster, IN and Menard’s in Schererville, IN. She loved music and enjoyed activities with her grandkids.
