My thoughts and prayers are with you Chuck, Linda and the kids.  What a great Dad, Father-in-law and Grandpa you had!  You will have wonderful memories of his loving and caring ways.

Charlie was a very good friend and one of my favorite customers at the comic shop. If he wasn't talking about his garden, he was flirting with the girls. We literally talked thousands of hours over the last 20 years. I will miss him. My condolences to the whole Grunstein family.

The memories of Charlie our endless.He was more then just a great neighbor but a great friend who felt like he was part of your family. If you ever needed anything he was the man for it, he knew about everything, he also was all seeing, he could tell me something I was going to do before it would even happen and get me in trouble. Many of times did i sit outside waiting for that garage door to open just so I new he was home and i could get the key to my own house,yet i never new where he put it. Always running over there bringing him grass for that compose hep that never was empty but never full,picking grapes, getting cucumbers,borrowing tools,and even playing video games. 
Charles Grunstein a great neighbor, a great friend,and an amazing  gardener.
We will all miss him greatly in many ways.

To the Grunstein Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we wish that we could be there because Charlie was always there for us wether it for for him to help with something or for us to borrow tools.  There are way too many memories to list but we will never forget him nor Bev.  They were not only neighbors but best friends and like grandparents to my children. We deeply regret that we cannot be there but we know everyone understands.You were wonderful and we will miss you greatly.

I have known Mr. Grunstein most of my days. He was one of several positive adult figures in my life, really beginning in High School until now. I remember fondly the Uno card games we played at his house. He will be missed. I send my sincere condolences to Chuck and Joe and their families. You all are in my affirming prayers.

Memories of Charlie, WOW I can go on forever......The vegies from his garden always tasted better then the ones my mom bought from the store.  NO matter what my brother and I did Charlie would know we did it before we did.  He was an awesome neighbor who cared for us as if we were his grandchildren.  When we would get locked out of the house that is where we would go.  The signal that he was home was the garage was open.  I remember when he first planted his grape vines and it was the coolest thing in the world that I got to pick grapes off the vine.  As a child I would cut through his yard to get to the bike trail and he knew everytime he would be there waiting for us just to say HI.  I was his ugly that got prettier by the minute!  
He was a great friend of the famiy and will be missed GREATLY!
