Eric Anthony Paul

Eric graduated from Bishop Noll High School, served many years as a surgical nurse, and was a US Navy Veteran.

He had two children, Alex Paul and Corey Frantz. He was further survived by five brothers, Mark of Peoria, IL, Kevin of La Porte, IN, Peter (Jennifer) of Schererville, IN, John (Beth) of Griffith, IN and Carl (Ruth) of Sheboygan Falls, WI; one sister, Mary Beth (Ron) Sullivan of Westminster, CO; ex-wife, Janine Jacoby of Wanatah, IN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Those who preceded him in death include his parents, James and Lucille Paul; brother, Phillip Paul; sisters-in-law, Helen (Mark) Paul, Karen (Phillip) Paul and Connie (Kevin) Paul.

Funeral arrangements will take place Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 525 North Broad Street, Griffith, IN 46319, with a viewing at 9:30 am and Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial will happen immediately after at 12:30 pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 West Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any program that assists veterans, such as Wounded Warrior Project and Hope For The Warriors.

The family would like to recognize the staff at Lincolnshire Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center for the care Eric received the past few years. May he now rest in peace.
