My sincere condolences to Floyds family. My association with Floyd covers many years at Ryerson. He was a trusted mentor, always helpful to me. A man with a remarkably cool demeanor in a very demanding position. I consider him one of the truly special people that I've worked with in my career.

My memories of Floyd go back to the 1960/70's when we had Sanders family gatherings in Springfield, Il. I was married to Floyd's cousin Adam Wakenshaw, who passed away May 2011. THe family fun we had made for me, many happy memories. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear about your dad. Floyd was a great guy and a very good friend of mine at Ryerson during the 30 plus years we worked together.I remember so many good times with him and your mother. Those that come to mind most of all, were outside of the Ryerson walls, at Purdue. It was there that Katie and I met David, Danielle and you at one of our great tailgate gathering. I can still is Floyd in his Purdue hat --- it was a classic.Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
