Frederick James McKinney Jr.

Frederick James McKinney Jr., age 60, of Highland, IN passed away May 29, 2020. Frederick is survived by his daughter Jessica and her husband Dewayne Brooks; son Frederick James McKinney III; his mother Doris McKinney; companion Debbie McKinney; three sisters: Cynthia Smith, Carmen and Colleen McKinney; one brother Eric McKinney; and many nieces and nephews. He was born to the union of Frederick James McKinney Sr. and Doris McKinney. He was preceded in death by his father Frederick James McKinney Sr. and one brother Anthony McKinney. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 12 Noon at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Frederick graduated from Fenger High School and also played in the band in high school. After high school he played in a group called Person to Person and he was the drummer. Frederick worked for ComEd as an overhead crew leader for 31 years. A special remembrance to his uncle Donald & aunt Lavette Nolan.
