I can't seem to get over this enormous feeling of grief that has come over me since I learned about the passing of my friend Gary Zar. I will never forget you and some of the personal conversations we had about our lives. I will miss you with all of my being my man. You will always be the "Car Doctor"

Danny, Rose, and Bob I'm sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great man and he taught me a lot. My prayers and sympathy to you all.

Gary was a great man and a wonderful father to all the kids in his life - whether he was their Dad or not.  Gary, I know Danny will make you very proud!  We love and will miss you.

To all of the family I'm sorry for your loss. All of us lost a great guy. I met Gary about 18 years ago in the car business. Gary helped so many of us over the years, and went out of his way to do so. If you only knew of how many people he helped that he didn't even know. Despite living some distance away, Gary was as close as a neighbor that didn't hesitate to help myself or others that I knew. He did it the right way and will be missed so much.

I can't believe that you are gone. I will miss our morning phone calls. You were always there for me, giving me advice. If I had a problem or needed work done in any way, you were looking up someone that you knew so that you could put me in touch with them. You always had time for me. I loved to hear your stories, especially you big shopping spree with Danny where you had a personal shopper working for you at the store and getting discount after discount. You really scored! You were so proud of that trip.
 
We were separated once before after Mom's death, now we are separated again. I know that we will once again be together. You just happened to go before me and are with Mom and Dad, Jarri & Len, all the Grandparents, Mum and Dad from England and my little Skudie. You have gone to be with God and that I know. Did he need some work on a car? Is that why he took you?
 
You were such a great brother, husband and father. You were always so giving to everyone you knew. Your family came first and you always saw to it that there was a "tradition" that you were going to uphold even if it meant standing in line for 3 or 4 hours at Marshall Fields, it was TRADITION! Or you would make some up so that you had more, like the song at Christmas-time for the new people at your house.
 
I feel so honored to have been your sister, you were an awesome Brother to me. I remember our trips for Lobster dinner when we were just young teens. Calling a cab and going to The Rosewood Inn for a celebration dinner. I will love you forever. You may be gone for now, but you are in my heart and you will never be forgotten. I love you brother.  Rest in peace and fix all the cars in heaven.  Jarri asked me to watch over her brother 2 years ago.  I guess now I ask her to watch over my brother.

Bob, Rose and Dan, I watched you all grow up over the last 20 plus years and you have all turned out to be wonderful people because your father was such a caring and loving father. You were always first with him.  No matter what choices you make in the future, he will be with you and he will be proud of you. Love you.

gary was one of the best, intelligent, humorous, people i have ever met. i am go glad he is a uncle of mine! he has taught me alot of things about life...you will be truly missed

Your father will be missed greatly. Always remember when making difficult dicisions what your dad would tell you to do. I know you will make the right choices & you will make him proud. We love you dearly.
