George A. Keith

George A. Keith, age 82, of Highland, IN passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Norma Jean; four sons: Bob (Tracy) Keith of Lansing, IL, Scott (Amy) Cunningham of North Carolina, Chris Cunningham of Highland, IN, Bill (Annette) Cunningham of Crown Point, IN; three daughters: Vicki (Bill) Ewing of Highland, IN, Pam (Brian) Keister of DeMotte, IN, Kathy (Brian) Ayers of Portage, IN; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Stone of North Carolina. Mr. Keith was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Velichkoff; son, Bruce Keith; granddaughter, Shannon Ewing; parents John and Pearl Keith brothers: John, William and Hugh. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with additional visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service DIRECTLY at First Church of the Nazarene of Highland, 9330 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN. Pastor Ron Richmond officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 2:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene of Highland. Mr. Keith was a member of the church and retired from the I.H.B. Railroad with 43 years of service. Arrangements entrusted to Kuiper Funeral Home.
