Isabell Dering

Isabell was born March 31, 1931 in Chicago to the late Alexander and Isabella (Broadfoot) Calder. Also preceding her in death are her loving husband of 46 years, Benjamin Dering; and brothers, Jim and Al Calder.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathy (Steve) Stojakovich and Julie (Darryl Dedelow) Spiekhout; grandchildren, Jeff (Ann Zurawski) Stojakovich, Eric (Connie) Stojakovich, Adam (Dawn Rechllicz) Stojakovich, Jeremy (Julie) Spiekhout, Josh Spiekhout, Rachel Spiekhout; 9 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-laws, Ray (Jean) Dering, Marilyn Schultz, Aldena Osika, Joan Dering-Mielke, Roger Dering.

She retired after over 30 years of service at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Isabell was afaithful and active past member of Bethel Reformed Church of Harvey, Illinois, where she was an elder, Women's Guild member, and various other groups. Recently she was a faithful member of Faith Church of Dyer. She touched the lives of so many with her kind and loving personality. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home (9039 Kleinman Rd.; Highland, Indiana 46322). Funeral services will be Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at Kuiper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakland Memory Lane Cemetery in Dolton, Illinois.
