Jake is the loving husband for 45 years to Eva Rehm; proud father to Linda Rehm, Mario (Belen) Rehm and John Lopez; cherished grandfather to Jacob (Colleen) Rehm, Jillian Rehm, Bobbi Buggs, Mia Buggs, Bettina (Julien) Quiroz, Anita-Marie (Aaron) Jarrett, and Josie Lopez; great-grandfather to three; beloved brother to Sharon Gerling, Sandra Deven, Richard Rehm and Janice Brunnick; uncle to many.
Jake honorably served in the United States Marine Corp. He had retired after 30 years of service at Inland Steel. Jake was a master at crafts, building bird houses, nativity sets, Christmas villages, and making doll houses. He could see the beauty in anything, making all of his creations from regular household items. He was a loved and beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at Hillside Community Church.
