Jeffrey Lynn Czerniak

Jeffrey L. Czerniak, age 64, of Highland, IN, formerly of Hessville, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019. He was born on July 29, 1955 to Anthony and Dorothy (Lorance) Czerniak. Jeff was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and was a Hammond fireman for over 30 years. He was a father to Chery Czerniak and a grandfather to Alexis, Jason, Robert and Angel. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James, and numerous aunts and uncles. Jeff is survived by his daughter Chery and his grandchildren; brothers: Larry (Sue), Mike (Hernie) and Dan (Karin); sister in law Nancy; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved to fish and hunt. Friends are invited to meet with the family Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (time of service) at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN.
