Jo Ann Martinez (nee Elzinga), age 73, of Highland, IN passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016. She is survived by her four children: Craig (Diana) Van Schouwen, Rich (Sandy Timmerman) Van Schouwen, Steve (Cindy) Van Schouwen and Marc ( fiancée Kate) Martinez; four grandchildren: Jacob and Bennett Van Schouwen, Story and Maggie Van Schouwen; two sisters: Marilyn Sodo and Judy Doot; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Elzinga. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. DIRECTLY at New Life Christian Reformed Church, 3010 Ridge Road, Highland, IN with Rev. Bill Sytsma officiating. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery, Highland, IN.
