Joann R Mullins Bond

JOANN R. BOND (NEE MULLINS) HIGHLAND, IN Joann R. Bond (nee Mullins), age 80, of Highland, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Bond Jr.; two children: Robert Quigley of Georgia and Donna (Gary) Bernloehr of St. Petersburg, FL; granddaughter, Dr. Lauren Bernloehr of Gainesville, FL; two stepsons: Robert (Marion) Bond of Georgia and Frank (Julie) Bond III of Lake Wales, FL; and their children; three brothers: James (Jackie) Mullins of Maryland Heights, MO, Robert (Susan) Mullins of Worthington, OH and Tom Mullins of Whiting, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bond was preceded in death by her parents: Merwyn L. and Lillian Mullins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Rev. C. James Facklam officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mrs. Bond attended First Presbyterian Church of Highland. She was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing the flute and piano, and performed several years with the Chicago Heights Symphony. She was an avid golfer, obtaining a "Hole in One" at Wicker Park Golf Course in Highland. Mrs. Bond also enjoyed bowling with the Senior Mixed League in Highland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joann's loving memory to First Presbyterian Church of Highland.
