Joyce F. Robinson

Joyce F. Robinson, age 61, of Merrillville, IN, passed away June 4, 2018. She is survived by two loving children: Gary Robinson and Leslie (Keith) James; three grandchildren: Kayla, Felicia and Trevor. Also surviving are her loving brothers and sisters: Wanda Gilbert of Hammond, IN, Wallace (Ruth) Choate of Griffith, IN, Mattie (Vernon) Garza of Schererville, IN, Flora (Marshall) Snuffer of Valparaiso, IN, Kenneth (Joy) Choate of Valparaiso, IN, Brenda (James) Harris of New Chicago, IN, Peggy (Ron) Cassoday of Rensselaer, IN, Dorothy Choate of Dyer, IN and Thomas Choate of Hobart, IN; sister in law Sharon Choate of Washington, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents: Shirley and Flora Choate; sister Cora Cummings; and brother James Choate. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home , 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Pastor Dan Obinger officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, June 8, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home.
