LAWRENCE L. HUPPENTHAL HIGHLAND, IN Lawrence L. Huppenthal age 70 of Highland, IN passed away at home on Monday March 4, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Anne Marie Huppenthal (nee Matovina); beloved children: Joe (Natalie), Chris (Suzie), and Dan (Jeannine); dear grandchildren: Jared, Timothy, Kalee, Cody, Ryan, Brendan, and Allison; one sister, Janet (Fred) Phillips; and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by parents: Lawrence A. and Catherine Huppenthal; and one sister, Katherine ( Patrick) Gaughan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10:30 AM Directly at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Rev. Edward Mozsur officiating. Burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. (3:30 p.m. prayer service) at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, IN. Larry was employed by AT&T for 30 plus years. He enjoyed taking care of his lawn, garden, and cars. He also enjoyed spending time and playing with his grandchildren. Larry will be greatly missed by everyone with whom he crossed paths. A special thank you goes to Dr. David Flores and the nurses at St. Margaret Mercy Hospital in Dyer for their care and support.
