I was fortunate to know Larry while working on the Lincoln Community Center improvements from 2007 to 2012.  I will always remember his smile and kindness when he greeted me.  I know that his impact on his community and family were tremendous.  My deepest sympathy to his family.

Nancy and family. I was very much saddened to learn of the passing of Larry a couple of weeks ago and after reading the article in today's TIMES by Marc Chase he could not have better described the character of a person any better. After working with Larry for a couple of years when I was at Allied Tube and also working with him with the Calumet Suburban Transportation Association every attribute listed was spot on. I have also dealt with Tim in Crown Point in his dealing with the tributes to Veterans in the community and he is very much like Larry in this respect.
God Bless you and your family in your loss but he definitely left this world in a better place than he found it.

Dearest Nancy & Vassar Family, I hate the fact that it was time for Larry to depart from this life and end our witty interaction possibilities.  He is now getting an opportunity to visit with our past relatives who have also missed him!  One day, we will all be together again is our blessed hope!
