Margaret E. Becker

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale W. Gray and Eleanor L. Arnold; her stepfather, Robert Arnold; her brother and sister-in-law, Dale (Norma) Gray; her sister and brother-in-law, Catherine Gray (James) Anderson; and her beloved husband, Norman Carl Edwin Becker, Jr.

Margaret is survived by her children, Paul (Jessica) Becker and Elizabeth Becker (Taras Mandzij); her three grandchildren, Ethan R. Becker, Kassandra H. Becker, and Finlay P. Becker; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other loving extended family.

Margaret grew up in Hammond, IN, and was married in 1970. She lived in Lansing, IL, until June of 2023, when she moved to Portage, IN. She had a deep love for Christian music, the color pink, roses and carnations, and was an avid lover of sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.

A visitation for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322. She will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
