My sympathies to Matt's family.  I haven't seen Matt since high school but have remembered him fondly over the years when looking back on our days at TR.  We spent a lot of time together in classes and Mathletes.  Matt is always a part of the group that immediately springs to mind when reminiscing about high school.  
I can picture him now, sitting on the counter by the windows in Homeroom wearing his jeans, flannel shirt and hiking boots.
Rest in peace, Matt.  And, thanks for the memories.

Sorry to hear about Matt, he was such a sweet person and a good friend he always made time to talk to me especially living down the same block.

I think of Matt and I am reminded of our younger days.  It was back in the time when all we cared about was "Where are we going to have fun next?"  I will miss the opportunity to reminisce.  So sorry for your loss Criste.  My thoughts are with you and your family.

I worked with Matt at ComEd and IBM. His interesting  perspective on work and life in general kept the place lively. My deepest sympathy to Christe, the boys and the rest of the Lengel family.

I was a co-worker of Matt at ComEd. He was a good friend. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

Our sincere condolences on the loss of a dear cousin, I have a lot of fond memories of Matt and I spending time together when we were kids growing up. He will be missed.

I was a Team Lead with IBM and Matt would always have some smart remark to anything I asked him. He always had me laughing and I was never surprised at what he would say. It was a joy working with him. He will always be remembered!
