Nancy Wysocki, 61, of Highland IN, passed away July 6, 2019, after a short battle with cancer with her family by her side. She was born September 25, 1957 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Irene (Renee) Maga. Nancy attended St. Mary Magdalene elementary school and James H. Bowen High School before graduating from Thornton Fractional North High School in 1975 where she was salutatorian of her class. She had a long career as a staff accountant with the last 20+ years at the firm of her boss and friend Thomas W. Daniels CPA.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Donald, son Steven, sisters Barbara (Loren) Stolle of San Francisco, CA, Janice (James Borowski ) Kasiak of Pompano Beach, FL, Susan (Jeff) Jungr of Yorkville, IL, Patricia (Dominic) Kowalkowski of Highland, IN, and brother-in-law David (Kathy) Wysocki of Dyer, IN. Nancy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt with a kind and generous heart. She loved cooking and baking and always made extra for family and friends. She loved flowers, birds, her pets and decorating for every season. Nancy was an avid gardener planning out the plants months in advance for the upcoming season. She was a devoted member of St James the Less Catholic Church in Highland IN. Nancy never got to do much traveling, but hopefully now she will be able to see the world. She will be dearly missed.
Friends are invited to meet with the family Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Keith Virus officiating.
