NORMA LEE BUSSIE (NEE DECKER) SCHERERVILLE, IN Norma Lee Bussie (nee Decker), age 73, of Schererville peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 39 years, Richard Bussie; four children: Deborah (Larry) Kristoff, Walter (Wendy) Minard, Dennis (Betty) Minard, and Brian (JoAnn) Minard; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Gerrie (Late Don) Black and Joyce (Cecil) Richardson; two sisters-in-law: Carole Decker and Connie (Erno) Restyanski; brother-in-law, Robert (Cathy) Bussie; like a brother, Marvin (Judy) Pinkowski; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Bussie was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Norma Decker; two brothers: Walter Decker, Jr. and Wilford Decker. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 2201 Azalea Drive, Highland, IN with Rev. Dr. Michael H. Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. Mrs. Bussie retired from the Highland Library with 25 years of service and was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ of Highland.
