Patricia C. Lenz

She was born on October 7, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Frank and Anna (née Mueller) Laier.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Together, they built a loving home, raised their family, and created countless cherished memories.

She is survived by her four loving children: Laura Markut (late Alan) of Griffith, IN; Karen (Alan) Rapacz of Schererville, IN; Ronald (Teri) Lenz of Carmel, IN; and Kenneth (Lori) Lenz of Valparaiso, IN. Patricia was the proud grandmother of Lisa and Keri Markut; Evan and Eric Rapacz; Matthew, Michael (Cassie), and Jack Lenz; Douglas, Kathryn (Joe) Finch, Kristin, and Jeffrey Lenz; two step-grandchildren, Angela (Brennen) Baker and Robert (Sarah) Markut and step-great-grandchildren, Jakob and Makenna Markut. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law.

In addition to her husband and parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother and her two sisters.

Pat was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith. After retiring from Highland Pharmacy, she treasured the lasting friendships she made with both colleagues and customers. She found joy in her Bingo days at St. Mary’s, cheering on her beloved Chicago Bears, and attending her grandchildren’s many activities.

In accordance with her wishes, funeral services will be private.
