Rhoda C Randazzo Murdock

Rhoda C. Murdock (nee Randazzo), age 93, of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013. She is survived by her son, Chuck (Marlene) Murdock of Crown Point, IN; four grandchildren: Vicki (Mike) Johnson of Highland, IN, Sharon (Jack) Staninger of Highland, IN, Patrick Murdock of Crown Point, IN and Jerry (Kimberly) Murdock of Crown Point, IN; seven great grandchildren; three sisters: Ada Karr of Hammmond, IN, Grace Randazzo of Virginia and Marge Smithers of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Murdock was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and son, Gale. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Pastor Daniel Hendon officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mrs. Murdock was retired from Southern Electric Company in Hammond with 30 years of service. She was a member and Sunday School Teacher for many years at Hoffman Street Baptist Church in Hammond. Rhoda enjoyed traveling in her spare time and was a loving mother, grandmother, and good friend who touched many with her kindness and her love of God.
