Robert D. Cox

Robert D. Cox, age 58, of Marshall, IL, formerly of Calumet Township, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Robert was born November 15, 1963 to the late Benjamin and Janet (Ford) Cox in Hammond, IN.

Bob was a truck driver for his entire career for TRIMAC in Portage, IN. He really enjoyed his job. Bob also like to go fishing and hit up some casino's in and around the area. You could add time at the local watering holes as well as taking in a game of pool. Other moments gathered with family consisted of cooking on the grill, and having a cold beer. His family will remember his kindness and love of life. At only 58 years of life, he will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Monica Cox; parents, Benjamin and Janet Cox; brother, Benny Cox; grandparents; and several Aunts and Uncles.

Bob leaves behind his son, Robert Cox Jr.; niece, Melissa (Justin) Deal; many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

A public visitation for Robert will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 3PM to 7PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland, IN 46322. A funeral service will begin at 12:30PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8178 Cline Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307.
