Robert "Bobby" A. Fabian

Robert A. “Bobby” Fabian, age 70, of Munster, IN passed away at home Wednesday, December 23, 2015 with his loving family at his side. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Paulette; two daughters: Natalie Fabian and Diana (Eddie) Rodriguez; brother, Joseph (Nell) Fabian; many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Anne Fabian; parents in law: Casimir and Virginia Krivickas; and canine companions: Dominoe, Studebaker and Gypsy. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at St James the Less Catholic Church (9640 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN) with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Monday, December 28, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. (prayer service 7:30 p.m.) at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mr. Fabian was retired from Inland Steel and a member of the Bricklayer’s Union Local #4. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and a member of the American Legion. Robert was also a member of St. James the Less Catholic Church in Highland. He especially enjoyed cruise nights with his friends. Robert cherished his family and will be dearly missed.
