Ruby Neal Simpson (nee Decker), age 83, of Griffith, IN passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015. She is survived by her seven children: Roger (Landra) Simpson, William (Roberta) Simpson, Connie (Floyd “Bucky”) Muffett, Norma (Marc) Valentine, Ricky (Shannon) Simpson, Mary Kay (Jay) Finnerty and Julie Miller; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; four siblings: Delmer, Jean, Anna Sue and Martha; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; and son, Larry. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Frank DuVall, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 3:00 p.m-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home.
