Sheila Faye Ogborn Evans

Sheila Faye Evans (nee.Ogborn). HIGHLAND, IN, Sheila F. Evans, age 68, of Highland, IN passed away on September 14, 2015. She was born in St Margaret’s Hospital Hammond IN on December 28th, 1946 to the late George C. Ogborn and survived by Mildred Ogborn (Olsen). They lived in Lansing IL, where Sheila graduated from TF South High School. On May 13, 1967 she married the late Wallace (Wally) Evans they were married for 47 years. Surviving are her two sons: Steven M. and his wife, Rachel (Yankauskas) Evans and their children, Alec, Paige, Dawson, and Luke Evans (who passed away on November 30, 2001) and Jason A. and his wife, Andrea (Mathes) Evans and their children, Carter, Annabelle, Olivia, Cooper and Finley Evans. Also surviving are her four brothers Jack Allord, Jim, George and Jerry Ogborn; numerous nieces and nephews.. Sheila was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansing, IL. Sheila split her time between her home in Highland, IN and her vacation home in Ludington, MI. Her home, appropriately named "Wally World" had a revolving door of family, friends, and guests. Sheila loved spending time with her many friends and family, and two sons, Jason and Steven, and most importantly her grandchildren. Sheila was always helping others, or spending some alone time at the end of the pier fishing for her next big bass.
