Shirley V. Andersen Blink

Shirley V. Blink (nee Andersen) “Casey”, age 95, of Highland, IN passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014. Shirley is survived by two sons Darryl (Joan) Blink of WI and Ron (Barbara) Blink of St. John, IN; one daughter Melody (Robert) Van Gorp of MS; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister Sylvia (Jim) Smith of IN; two brothers in law: Cal (Shirley) Blink of Highland and Robert Dupree of Crown Point; one sister in law Alta Mae Blink of Highland; Several nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Blink. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Don Rector, will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 9516 Kennedy Avenue, Highland on Friday, November 21 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland (two blocks south of Ridge Road) on Thursday, November 20 from 2 PM to 8 PM. Shirley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Highland for over seventy years. Shirley retired as head cook for the School Town of Highland. Memorials may be given to Calvary Baptist Church in Shirley’s memory.
