Susan D McCloud

Susan “Maw-Maw” McCloud, age 58, passed away on April 19, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John McCloud; Daughters: Angelique McCloud (Steve Forman), Malissa McCloud, and Justina Slemin (Robert Slemin III); Grandchildren: Erica Goodson, Matthew Goodson, Whyatt McCloud, Mia Slemin, Meadow Slemin, Ferris Slemin, Kyle Ashlock and Ethaniel Boyd; her Mother, Sue Wright (VanLaningham), Sisters: Kim (David) Reed, Vicki VanLaningham; Brothers: Randy VanLaningham and George S. VanLaningham. Preceded in death by her Father, George F. VanLaningham and Niece, Ashley VanLaningham. Susan was the original manager of Casey’s General Store (Griffith) for 13 years, and a manager for other local businesses for 19 years. She truly dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed collecting fairies, butterflies and windchimes. She also enjoyed the beach, Harley rides, and music concerts, but most of all she loved to travel the country and the Caribbean with her loving husband John by her side. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland, Indiana from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017; 11:00 am at Kuiper Funeral Home with burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Joe Mollet officiating.
