Tana Hughes

Tana Hughes, age 46, of Schererville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2020, thus changing multiple lives she truly impacted. She was born to Lewis Harold and Patricia Ann (Taylor) Hughes on May 17, 1974 in Hammond, IN. Tana is, was and always will be an amazing woman with a huge heart and the best outlook in life. Tana loved life and her friends and family. I will miss the many date nights, spending time with a fantastic love of life, the numerous movie nights, the unlimited adventures, long lasting and infectious laughing and those eyes with the great smile. You’ll forever be apart of all of us in our daily lives. You’ve made many positive changes in everyone that was in your life as a portion of your legacy. Will always cherish and remember TNR and team Tbears! She was a proud member of Ford Motor Company local 551. Tan, I will always remember us being Bonnie and Clyde and cherish the memories we made. She leaves behind her loving soulmate Rick Durfy, her brother Ted, nieces and nephews Morgan, Teddy Jr and Aaron, brother Chris, nephew Josh and great nephew Angel, brother Terry, niece Ashley and Chelsea, her son Tyler Flores, grandson Anthony and granddaughter Lauren Gracie. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Patricia Hughes. Family and friends may visit on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 12PM - 3PM at Kuiper Funeral Home - 9039 Kleinman Rd. Highland, IN 46322. Due to the current conditions of Covid-19 and per our Governor, masks are required for attendance. Family has selected private burial for family members.
